Nursing Home Ministry
Volunteers assist priests with the monthly celebration of Mass in area nursing homes, and bring the Eucharist to bedbound residents in their rooms.
Parish Nurse Transportation Providers
Volunteers provide transportation for homebound parishioners who wish to travel from their home to a particular destination, such as for a doctor's visit, etc.
Home Visitation
From new babies to older relatives with health concerns, our Parish Nurse, Karen Schalitz, is happy to visit you and help address your concerns or questions.
Accompaniment & Advocacy
Need accompaniment when attending a medical appointment? Our Parish Nurse can offer you or your loved one compassionate and confidential support. Please reach out to discuss the proper procedures for arranging such appointments.
(HIPAA & medical office rules to be followed)
Q&A
Any questions or concerns you may have from conception through to natural death can be addressed by Nurse Karen. Please feel free to call the office to arrange an in-home visit or time to chat at the church.
This ministry serves those parishioners in both nursing and residential homes who are unable to attend Mass. Volunteers bring the Eucharist to the homebound, and generally serve on a rotating basis (normally scheduled every 3 months).
